Good Morning All! IT IS FRIDAY!
Daily Check-in:
*You can also check-in using google classroom or clicking here.
This morning, before you begin, you will need to check over the detailed learning page for each subject to see what needs to be kept at home when you finish and what needs to be sent back. Hopefully, now you have come up with a system that works for you. Whatever system you use, make sure it works well for you. I will be on my computer all day, so please contact me if you need help...that is what I'm here for. Enjoy your day!
MATH:
Today for math you are going to be working 14-8: Same Area/Different Perimeter. Throughout math, you will need to do Xtramath (let me know if there is not a way you can do this at home and we can get something figured out), watch the 2 math videos, follow along on one of the videos with me going over the reteaching worksheet, and finish off with the practice & daily spiral review sheet.
The only things that come back to me are the 14-8 daily spiral review and practice (which should be back to back on one sheet of paper). Please remember to show all of your work.

READING:
It is Friday, which means testing day. Today, you need to complete the daily spiral review, grammar test, reading test, and vocabulary test. Once you are done take some time to read your book.
All the tests need to come back to me as well as the daily spiral review.
SPELLING:
As you all know, spelling tests normally happen on Fridays, however, now that you are at home we are going to take our spelling tests a little differently. For our spelling tests, you are going to write the words spelled correctly in a sentence and then underline the spelling word.
EX: In the summer we often go to the park.
This week your spelling list is 6.1 remember. The list was sent home in your Monday Packet. If you forgot the words you can find them in spelling city or below.

FOR ALL MY ART LOVERS:
Every Friday Dave Pilkey (the illustrator of Dog Man & Captain Underpants books) is doing videos on how to draw different book characters, sneak peeks from books and creative activities. Check it out!
Congratulations, 4th graders! You have made it through your first week of distance learning. You have accomplished so much in one week. Now take some time over the weekend to rest and relax. Remember, keep helping around the house too.
