Happy Thursday! It is the last day of the week!
Check-in for the day here:
*You can also check-in from your google classroom or by clicking on this link.
This morning, before you begin, you will need to check over the detailed learning page for each subject: Math, Reading, Spelling, & Social Studies to see what needs to be kept at home when you finish and what needs to be sent back. I will be on my computer all day, so please contact me if you need help...that is what I'm here for. You are AMAZING!
MATH:
Today for math you are going to be working on 17-2 - interpreting graphs. To begin you need to do a lesson on XtraMath. Then watch the introduction video followed by the re-teaching video (follow along with your re-teaching worksheet) remember I do not want your re-teaching worksheet back. Once you have a good grasp on what the lesson is about, go ahead and try the practice worksheet, you can cross out the writing to explain. The daily spiral review worksheet needs to be completed as well.
The only things that come back to me are the 17-2 practice and daily spiral review sheets.

READING:
In reading, you need to complete your Thursday Daily Review & watch the video on Adverbs to Compare as well as do the practice worksheet.
The only thing that needs to come back to me for reading on Thursday is your daily review and grammar worksheet (Adverbs to Compare).
Grammar Video:
Here the picture that goes with the Daily Reading:
WRITING:
In writing, we are continuing to talk about our Fiction Writing Stories. Today you will need to watch the video on problems within fictional writing. You do not need to write anything down, but think about what kind of problem your story may have.
Nothing needs to come back from writing today.
SCIENCE:
Today for science, you will need to find the soil layers worksheet in your packet and label the layers of soil that we talked about in the video on Tuesday. If you need to go back to the video to reference the layers of soil go back to Tuesday's blog post under science. Once you are done labeling the layers add some color.
Your soil layers worksheet needs to come back for the day.
Once you have completed all your tasks for the day, take a nice break and listen to a chapter from Red if you wish, remember, you can find this above on the "read aloud" tab. Also, don't forget to do your P.E. and/or Music assignments for the week.
Nice work, 4th graders! You are done with another day of distance learning. Remember you have a long weekend ahead. Relax, and enjoy your time off from school! I will continue to post Red Read Alouds every day. See you all next Tuesday!
