MATH:

A reminder that Mrs. Baumann is taking over math. If you need help or have any questions you will need to ask her.

READING:

It is THURSDAY so that means GRAMMAR DAY! I know you all just cheered :). Today you will need to complete the Thursday week 3 "Daily Reading Ready" and then you will need to take out your grammar worksheet " Prepositional Phrases pg. 337 & 338 and watch the video to help you complete those two pages. Once you are done with these two sheets you are done with reading for the day.

WRITING:

Today for writing, we are continuing on with our Fictional Narrative. Today in the video we are going to be talking about leads. Just a reminder that leads are what you start your story with. So you will need to find the leads anchor chart in your packet and take that out before you start the video. You will also need to take out the story "Our Secret" from your packet to follow along with as I read it in the video. When you have finished watching the video you will need to complete the "Writing a lead" anchor chart.

SOCIAL STUDIES:

Today and tomorrow are social studies days, which means in Mrs.Baumanns packet you will find what she has assigned. Please contact Mrs. Baumann if you have any questions or concerns about social studies or math for this week.

Once you have completed all your tasks for the day, take a nice break and listen to a chapter from our read aloud if you wish, remember you can find this above on the "read aloud" tab. Also, don't forget to do your P.E. and/or Music assignments for the week (reminder don't send this back until the next week).

Today for reading you will need to complete the Week 3 Wednesday "Daily Reading Ready" a reminder that the stories are on the back of the paper. Then you will need to turn to page 482 in your reading book and read the story, "The Game of Silence". When you have finished reading you need to complete pages 145 & 146 in your reading workbook that went with the story you just read.

**Reminder that you can listen to the story on your Wonders account.

What needs to come back:

• Wednesday "Daily Reading Ready"

• Your whole reading workbook and the reading book can come back to school. We will not use these again this year.

SPELLING:

Today for spelling you will need to find your spelling words list and then the "Backwards and Forwards" worksheet in your packets. Your job is to find 20 of the spelling words you would like to write forwards and backward on the paper.
